The Mobile Marketing Forum, which takes place at 4 continents at important cities such as New York, Los Angeles, London, Miami and Singapore bringing Experts together took place in Istanbul on 14-15 November, 2012. The theme of the conference was Now & Next: how mobile changes everything with global experts talking about current and future successes of Mobile Marketing to the Table.

 

The Mobile Marketing Forum, which has been prepared with 28 Speakers from all over the World brought GSM operators, Global and National Brands and Agencies together in Istanbul. At the Forum, where the developments and targets in mobile have been discussed, representatives from various sectors covering global brands gave information regarding the mobile technologies, their impact on the lives of the consumers, trends and tendencies.

 

The Forum, where Avea, Turkcell and Vodafone have been a Platinum Sponsors and Microsoft Advertising has been the Premium Sponsor, and where the presentation of the world of marketing and communication were discussed, has received a great attention. MMA Turkey, which serves under the MMA EMEA Region, was the host of the Event. Representatives from industries such as FMCG, Automotive and Retail took part as Speakers. The attandees, who listened to the presentations with great care, had the opportunity to listen to successful global projects and campaigns from people who represent these brands and agencies.

 

Due to the strong developments in the mobile handset market and the brand work asssociated with that due to the demographic developments in Turkey, it has been underlined that the mobile applications has been able to interact with the consumers in an effective and interactive fashion with consumers from various segments. MMA EMEA Managing Director and CMO of MMA Paul Berney stressed that no communication channel brings you closer to your customer than mobile, and underlined that the companies need to cooperate with each other to make mobile a success. Paul Berney, who said that the investments made to Mobile Marketing will increase even further declared that Turkey, especially with its young populations, draws the attention of foreign investors.

 

At the Forum where MMA Turkey, working under the umbrella of MMA EMEA was the host, many markting and communication expert brough the situation assesment and the sample campaigns to the table.  At the presentations where the important local and global experts came together, important decelarations were made reagrding the past, present and future of mobile communications. At he speaches which have been listened to with great care, it has been mentioned that the social networks and their impact has been very infulential, and it has been stresssed that the mobile devices will continue to be an indispensible part of our lives. The fact that the MMA Global Forum has been hosted in Istanbul, gave the opportunity to foreign companies, brands and agencies who condider to invest in Turkey to  get closely acquinted with the Turkish Market.
